PERSONALITY:

What impression does your character give when meeting someone for the first time? How does the first impression differ from your character’s true nature?

Toji has an intimidating appearance and presence which pretty much matches true to who he really is. He has a massive body in exchange for having no sorcerer techniques and carries himself with confidence. Upon seeing him, people should be able to tell he’s up to no good and is a very dangerous individual. Toji doesn’t look well, mentally, which is also true to his nature.

Despite any flaws that he might give off, he could care less about how others see him, sometimes saying shocking things or participating in unruly behavior. Despite the fact a lot of Toji can be seen like an open book, the man still holds a lot of secrets that he would never expose to anyone, such as the fact that the reason he has been pushing his one and only son away from him was for his own protection. Toji also conceals the extent of how lowly he thinks of himself, even if he has no problem mentioning how he considers himself a good for nothing. He’s still very much bitter and scarred by how his family treated him only to he disowned by them, but after all these years it’s not exactly something he thinks he can talk about.

What are some of your character's regrets? How is your character impacted by them?

From his current canon point, his biggest regret is being prideful in himself. Ultimately, it’s what led him to his grave. It’s possible he would have survived if it wasn’t for his prideful thinking in attempt to assassinate Satoru Gojo. He had followed through with killing his target, Riko Amanai, and could have left it at that, but he felt like he wanted to prove himself to himself— to show the sorcerer world and specifically the Zenin clan that he could be more than just a useless monkey. He could have fled the second he felt something terrible was going to happen to him in his final fight with Gojo, but instead, he kept fighting. The last thing that Toji thinks about as he dies is his first wife and his son, Megumi.

There isn’t a lot of information as to what happened to his first wife other than she died, but I have no doubts that Toji probably has regrets in regards to her. It’s stated that she was the only thing that seemed to have “calm him down” which is safe to say he loved her very much. He probably regrets not being a better husband to her and not doing enough to possibly save her (however it is she died.) His relationship with Megumi is complicated, because although he regrets having a son, it isn’t because he dislikes Megumi. It’s because he knows that without his wife’s influence, he isn’t proper parental material, and even if he was selling Megumi to the Zenin family, he seems remorseful in doing so— he does it to protect Megumi from himself and also believed Megumi would be treated better than he ever was. Toji both regrets having a son because his wife isn’t in the picture anymore and there’s a small bit of him that regrets selling Megumi away which is why his dying words encourage Gojo to do something with Megumi.

How does your character handle stress? What do they do in an emergency?

Although Toji has a violent temper, he remains rather cool headed in times of stress, making it rather hard to read both his emotions and thoughts. He masks it well in a dire situation with a shit eating grin while his brain immediately begins to strategize. As an assassin who mostly targets sorcerers, and also being from the Zenin household, Toji has an impressive amount of knowledge when it comes to sorcery despite the fact he lacks any technique. This helps him outwit his enemies and even knew an impressive amount of information in regards to Gojo’s techniques to which he confidently faced off with.

Toji has always been someone who focuses mostly on survival, despite the fact he thinks little of himself and his life. In a stressful situation, he would do what he can to rescue himself and himself alone, and if it involves fighting, he won’t hesitate. Toji is fearless, not showing any fear even when facing off against the strongest sorcerer.

INVENTORY:

Cursed Spirit — Inventory: The most notable item that Toji has with him at all times is a cursed spirit that he has formed a bond with that looks like this. It's a worm-like creature that manifests itself as Toji own mental state, but it's more than just that. It's basically a hammerspace of sorts, storing whatever Toji wants inside of its body. Typically, what is stored inside is all of his cursed objects and weapons, which I will explain in further detail. This spirit is special in the case that it is bound to Toji, unable to be absorbed by someone like Geto because of this bind. He's also stored the body of one of his targets inside of it, only for it to spit it back up, unchanged and unharmed. The creature does nothing other than store items, but it can also talk. It does have the ability to grow and shrink, and thus, Toji stores it in his stomach to make it undetectable by other sorcerers, giving him a more stealthy advantage since he lacks any cursed energy to begin with.

Each weapon below is what is stored inside of his cursed spirit. Without his spirit, he won’t have any of this accessible. I'm okay with him still having his cursed spirit on his person or having it go missing since it is a special item (and he stores it in his stomach, which is gross) -- just let me know how to handle this!

Conventional Weapons: Toji is a master at handling weapons of all kinds, but he seems to gravitate towards knives and daggers. He also is seen with a katana and a typical handgun which he used to assassinate Riko with. These kinds of weapons are the ones he prefers outside of his cursed objects.

Split Soul Katana: This one of his primary weapons that surpasses the strength of an average katana. It sliced through Geto's Rainbow Dragon which had the toughest skin among all of his curses, showcasing it's impressive durability.

Inverted Spear of Heaven: A specialized weapon used to nullify cursed techniques upon contact. This weapon is immensely strong, bypassing through the almost impenetrable Limitless and bringing Gojo's Infinity technique to a halt.

Chain of a Thousand Miles: This is a pretty cool weapon that is a giant chain without an ending as long as the user hides the other end of it. The other end is kept in the mouth of his inventory spirit, making it as long as he needs it.

POWERS

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Heavenly Restriction: A bind that eliminates any cursed energy, Toji is able to have immense strength and enhanced senses by this ability. It’s what gives him the muscles and physique he has now. This also allowed his five senses to sharpen to their maximum capacity, giving him an upper hand when fighting sorcerers. When revived from death by a Seance Technique in a later canon point to be used as a weapon and tool, Heavenly Restriction made him uncontrollable by Granny Ogami's technique.

Sharp Reflexes and Senses: Thanks to his Heavenly Restriction, having no cursed energy means his five senses have increased to their highest potential. Because of this, he is able to see curses and be resistant towards them. Toji can follow things such as a person's scent or something like footprints because of his sharpened vision.

Immense Speed, Strength and Endurance: Toji can dodge attacks very well and is said to be so fast, his opponents can't read his moves. This has been stated to be as impressive as Sukuna's speed and Toji has no cursed energy. His strength is powerful enough that he can kill a person by punching them several times in the head.

Clever Tactician: He is way too knowledgeable with sorcerer techniques which assists him in being an assassin. Toji has been doing this for awhile, so he's very smart when it comes to fighting.


NERFING:
I'm considering Heavenly Restriction a technique, which stems most of his unique abilities from. His reflexes will be that of someone who is an average human, trained assassin. Say, a police officer or someone who has a black belt in karate. His senses will be reduced to that of an average human, but probably can see/taste/smell/hear/feel a little better than someone who wouldn't have heightened senses, but not enough to give him any upper advantage in a fight. Toji's physique will remain the same, but he'll be a lot less indestructible and have an athlete's level of stamina. His cursed energy knowledge and tactics will remain the same since he learned all of those things on his own without the help of any ability.


WEAKNESSES: Toji doesn't have any specific weakness other than what could kill an average human being. Stab him in the heart, in the head, shoot him with cursed energy, decapitate him.. etc... he can die by any normal human means.
