Of course he wasn’t doing stuff like this when he met Megumi’s mother. How could he when she showed him so much warmth and affection that felt so foreign— yet so addicting. He was disinterested in every girl after that— he was disinterested in everything in general after that.
His half lidded eyes look cold as he stares across the table at Megumi, chewing slowly. Eventually, his nose curls. ]
[ he's noticed. hard not to, when toji often looks somewhere to the side, or over his head, or looks at him with what he thinks is a disturbed look. an intense stare that lasts a heartbeat, like a man daring to stare at an eclipse and hoping to be blinded by the sun, but finds only the reflected light of the moon.
